So Delicious
Have you ever heard of So Delicious? Or did you know it’s a vegan ice cream brand? Because I didn’t. And when I finally noticed it, I almost missed it. Its packaging blended in with countless other vegan brands, lacking the boldness and cohesion needed to stand out. Despite its strong online presence, its in-store identity felt forgettable. That’s when I saw an opportunity: a simplified, modern redesign could give So Delicious the recognition it deserves and make it impossible to overlook.

What was my process?
I started by digging into So Delicious’ brand to figure out what was working and what wasn’t. To get some inspiration, I compared it to Oatly, a big player in the vegan and dairy alternative space. Oatly’s branding was strong and memorable, while So Delicious seemed to blend in with the crowd. After analyzing Oatly’s success, I took a closer look at So Delicious’ packaging and logo, which were lacking the impact needed to stand out on shelves.
From there, I brainstormed and created a new logo and packaging design that would resonate more with the brand’s target audience. I built prototypes and developed a fresh marketing strategy to make the brand more visible and cohesive. To tie it all together, I filmed a short advertisement showcasing the new packaging, showing how a stronger design could help So Delicious stand out in a competitive market.
